Connect We-Link to Cursor

Add the We-Link MCP server to Cursor with a short JSON config so the LinkedIn tools show up in your editor.

Cursor is a bit more hands on than Claude or ChatGPT, but the setup is still short. If you're not a Cursor user, Claude or ChatGPT are the easier starting points.

Have your API key, API secret, and account ID ready first: [What you need before you connect].

Step by step

  1. In Cursor, open Settings then Tools & MCP then New MCP Server.

  2. Paste in the configuration below, swapping in your three values:

    {
    "mcpServers": {
    "we-link-linkedin": {
    "transport": "streamable-http",
    "url": "https://mcp.we-link.ai/mcp",
    "headers": {
    "x-api-key": "<your-api-key>",
    "x-api-secret": "<your-api-secret>",
    "account-id": "<your-account-id>"
    }
    }
    }
    }

  3. Restart Cursor, then check that the We-Link tools show up under Tools & MCP.

Never paste your credentials into the chat window. They belong in this configuration only.
