Before your assistant can do anything on LinkedIn, We-Link needs a LinkedIn account to act from. You connect it once, through a secure window, and you never hand your password to the API.
You do this in the We-Link dashboard, not in your AI assistant.
On the free trial you can connect one LinkedIn account, and we don't charge the monthly IP credits, so your 100 trial credits go entirely to real actions.
Step by step
1. Open LinkedIn Accounts
In the We-Link dashboard, open LinkedIn Accounts from the left menu. Any accounts you've already connected show up here.
2. Start a new connection
Click + Connect LinkedIn Account in the top right.
3. Open the secure link
We-Link creates a secure connection link. If you're connecting your own account, click Open link in new tab. If someone else owns the account, send them the link. Only ever share it with the account owner, never post it publicly.
4. Choose the IP address
Pick the IP the account will use. We-Link's IP is the simplest option and keeps the account on a stable, location-matched connection. Choose a location, then click Continue. If you have your own proxy you can use that instead.
5. Set up 2FA (recommended)
Optional but worth doing: turn on LinkedIn 2FA now, so verification checks get handled for you and your workflows don't get interrupted. See When LinkedIn asks you to verify.
6. Log in to LinkedIn
A LinkedIn login page opens inside the secure window. Log in there as normal.
7. Finish
When it's done, click Finish.
8. Confirm it connected
Back on the LinkedIn Accounts page, your account now appears in the list. That's it.
Next, grab the three values your assistant needs: What you need before you connect.
